I am from a teaching family. Back in the 1960's, I went to Stenotype School. Stenotype allows you to press down on more than one key at once. However, its main problem is each finger lacks access to the full alphabet. On my specially designed keyboard each finger has access to the full alphabet all in a similar position. This cuts down what one needs to learn to almost nothing.
